Some(do your research) research shows that use of acutane has been the catalyst/partial causal agent in suicide after or while taking its use. at the very least it has been shown to have a serious affects on depression, with long lasting affects.

I would strongly not recommend ever taking accutane UNLESS absolutely neccessary for acute acne (and yes to give it credit, it works) not gonna lecture about steroids but, seriously talk to your doctor. About the doc thing. Most doctors are savy enough to know whats going on with you any way, don't play a game, if you are and their playing with you, you should be seeing another doctor. A PCP should be a long term commitment, yeah I said the word, and hey you don't even have to take them out to dinner, for what your paying... they eat better than you anyway. Find a good doc and you'll get what you need and someone to monitor you."
